Students of Manheim are under the jurisdiction of Manheim Central School District, which is part of the Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit #13, and is a member of the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center. Once students graduate, they may attend any of the local colleges located in close proximity to Manheim. These include Franklin & Marshall College, Lancaster Bible College, Elizabethtown College, Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, Lebanon Valley College, Millersville University of Pennsylvania, and Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.
Manheim residents looking to enjoy a round or two of golf are in luck as the community is located near a few reasonably priced, yet challenging, golf courses. Tree Top Golf Course is a family owned and operated 18-hole course that is friendly for the first-time player and challenging for the seasoned golfer. Tree Top includes a remodeled clubhouse, lovely views of the lush green valleys as well as the county?s farm land. Groff?s Farm Golf Club in neighboring Mount Joy offers rolling terrain and 18 holes of play. Groff?s Farm includes a practice facility with a putting green, driving range and sand trap, as well as a pro shop, restaurant, and bar. Four Seasons Golf Course in Landisville is one of the most popular public courses in Lancaster County. An 18-hole, par-70 course, Four Seasons first opened in 1962 and has made continuous improvements and upgrades to maintain the quality of the course. Some other golf courses of note in the Lancaster metro region include Overlook Golf Course, Olde Hickory Golf Course, and Lancaster Country Club.
Manheim is a community that antedates the Revolutionary War and as such, history buffs and those interested in historical architecture will want to take a tour of the borough as there are over a dozen sites of interests to explore.
